Presentation of the
Guske 1904 Victorian Dollhouse

The Museum's newest permanent exhibit in miniature. This 11-room Victorian dollhouse was built by Dave Guske for his daughter Nicole. Mr. Guske’s research guided him to plans for a 1904 Victorian house built in New York at the turn of the century. Mr. Guske, an art, wood shop, and computer technology teacher as well as a finish carpenter spent two years building this dollhouse to a 1/12 scale of the original house. Some features of the dollhouse include a copper roof, square leaded glass skylight, two stained-glass windows by artist Bonnie Zimmer, spiral staircase and three porches.
